Try to find Farmer’s Markets wherever you live. They bring out local, organic produce and many natural, health foods that greatly benefit the community. Not only will you be supporting your local farmers but also you will find produce that is seasonal and we are meant to eat with the seasons! If you can’t find Farmer’s Markets around you, visit your local Whole Foods or ask your local grocery store for organic produce.

Being a Miami resident, there are a couple of Farmer’s Markets available to me, and if you happen to live here too, I’ll share these with you right here:
COCONUT GROVE ORGANIC FARMER’S MARKET (By Glaser Organic Farms)

South Florida’s oldest organic farmer’s market features a wide selection of freshly harvested organic fruits and vegetables, nuts, seeds, grains, and dried fruits.
There is a unique raw foods deli, salad bar, Nori rolls, fresh squeezed juices and sweet raw fruit pies.

ADRIENNE ARSHT CENTER FARMERS MARKET (Downtown Miami)

Keep it fresh Mondays! Purchase fresh food from stands overflowing with local harvest – seasonal fruits, vegetables, meats, prepared food and beverages – while enjoying periodic workshops with food writers and chefs, live music and cooking demonstrations.
